I have used this photo several times because it's one of the few photos I have with someone in pink. I have lots of pink layout ideas, so this photo comes in handy, although I'm not sure it's a favorite of Todd and Stephanie. Todd is 20 and Stephanie is 18 in this shot and they are standing in the driveway of our house in Green Bay. Stephanie had flown in from Minnesota for a visit.

I'm not sure where Troy and Connie were in Europe when this photo was taken, but it was during their September 2003 trip to Italy, France and Germany.

I love this photo of a very young Stephanie and Todd. This picture was taken during the summer of 1991 when Stephanie flew to Green Bay to see Todd for a few days. I think they may be standing in front of the infamous "plastic" car - the boys' Nisson Sentra.

The Family in Chicago in 2001

This is another favorite photo of the family that I frequently design layouts around. It's a family portrait taken at Northwestern University near Chicago when Todd earned his MBA in Business in June 2001. Pictured are: Bob, Amy, Trent, Todd, Stephanie, Troy, Connie and Marti.

Marti in Nebraska in 1966 - Age 21

I couldn't resist sneaking this wedding photo of mine into this blog album. I am 21-years-old in this picture and was married to Bob on April 5, 1966 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. This digitalized photo almost makes me look cross-eyed- weird!

Amy with Heineken in Chicago - Age 27

I believe the photo of Amy was taken in Chicago, but it may have been in Seattle too. The mini photos of Heineken were taken in Madison, Wisconsin at their home.

Troy and Todd in Oregon - Age 2

This is a sweet photo of Troy (left) and Todd at a studio in Portland, Oregon when they were 2-years-old. Trent wasn't born yet, but was definitely on the way.

The Family

I have many digital albums and this layout is the cover of Family Album #6. We are shown, in the lower photo, in 1995 the day before Todd and Stephanie's wedding and again, after everyone is married four years later, in 1999 in Chicago at Troy and Connie's first condo. Pictured above is: Trent, Amy, Todd, Stephanie, Bob, Troy and Connie. Pictured below is: Trent, Bob, Troy, Marti and Todd. Pictured are right: Troy, Connie and the babies, Justine Marie and Lauren Ann.

I love this photo of our family in July 1995 before any of the boys were married, so I tend to design layouts around it more often than others. We are posing in Stephanie's parents' breakfast nook at their home in Edina, Minnesota. This photo was taken the day before Todd and Stephanie were married on July 1, 1995. Trent is 21-years-old, the twins are 24-years-old and Bob and I are 50-years-old.

Trent and Amy's darling house looked charming in the winter of 2003. Technically this layout is incorrect, though. In 2003 Trent and Amy, both 29, did not have Athena yet.

In September 2005, Troy was 34-years-old, Connie was 33-years-old and the babies were 3 1/2 months old. However, the babies were really younger than that as they were born 11 weeks early. They should have arrived on July 31, 2005, so on September 3, they would have only been one month old. This photo was taken at Troy and Connie's condo in Chicago.

When Trent and Amy moved into their new house in Madison, Wisconsin in April 2003, their backyard garden was gorgeous!

Trent and Amy are at their rehearsal dinner in Madison on October 19, 2000 - their beautiful outdoor wedding was the next day on October 20, 2000.

This picture was taken at Todd and Stephanie's house in Chicago in August 2005. They are cooking dinner for Troy, Connie, and me. I am in Chicago helping take care of Justine and Lauren, Troy and Connie's new baby girls, who are 3 months old. Hobbes is there for moral support.

Connie is at Stephanie's parents' home in Edina, Minnesota the day before Todd and Stephanie's wedding on July 1, 1995. Connie was one of the bridesmaids in the wedding.

Marti in Nebraska - Age 24

After Bob and I were married in April 1966, I finished my senior year at the University of Nebraska during the summer of 1966, taught a 1st grade class in Lincoln, Nebraska and then we moved to Fremont, Nebraska where I taught 1st grade classes from 1967-1971. I quit teaching when our twins, Todd and Troy, were born 7 weeks prematurely on February 21, 1971.

I'll start this blog album with Amy and Trent, who drove to Chicago from Madison to visit their new nieces, Justine and Lauren, and also to visit friends from college. They are shown here at Troy and Connie's house in Chicago in August 2005.
